I do not know where he was in England after the 1861 census. His father was Thomas Gamble and mother was Maria Dumville. Thomas had at least four wives. The first that I know of was Elizabeth? HIs father was Robert Gamble 1775-1858. I would like to know if the names of his children. I have a Thomas Gamble married to a Jane? as his parents. My grandmother Eva Lewis married David Leicester Morgan in September 1929, at St Mary's Church in Langley Marish. Eva's job at time of marriage is listed as a factory worker. I know that my great grandfather was killed in a colliery in South Wales in 1913 and presume that Jemima must have moved to the area or Eva found a job in the area. I also know that Eva had a few brothers and sisters that live or lived in the Slough area. Miriam (had a daughter doreen), George, Mary, Ivor. Eva returned to live in Monmouthshire.
