Comment: Super site! Thank you for your good work. I am hoping to find out who were the parents of Nicholas Potter (1604-1677) of Newport Pagnell. Nicholas was baptized in NP on 1 April 1604. Nicholas married Eme Carter on 22 April 1628 in NP. He might have been the son of Robert 1571 Potter and Elizabeth 1574 Marshall. He emigrated to Massachusetts in abt 1634. NIcholas is my 9th great grandfather. I hope to hear from anyone connected to the Potters of NP. I will join your society and visit Newport Pagnell in October 2015. Comment: Hello, I am a descendant of the Reverend Thomas English of Wooburn, Buckinghamshire (who died in 1809), and his wife Mary (nee Sneath). I understand he was buried in a family vault in or near the Independent Meeting - Congregational - (now the Cores End United Reformed Church), and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if the family vault still exists, if there are any pictures of it, or any transcriptions of the details on it.

Comment: Hello, I now live in France and am trying to trace the birth and/or baptism record of my G.G.Grandmother Ann Goodgame. According to the 1851 census she was born in 1831 in Chalfont St Giles. I have the church record of her marriage to Jesse White in 1850. Her father's name on the record looks like 'Theisa' but I cannot find any record of this name. 'Theisa' is listed as a farmer. There is nothing on the IGI. Does anyone have any information about Ann and/or her father or about the name 'Theisa' in general - if that is what the name is. Many thanks. Brian

Name: BENNETTS/ HUNT FAMILY
Comment: Hi I am researching Bennetts/ Hunt families from Datchet, Bucks (and also nearby Windsor). Eliza Bennetts born approx. 1806 in Datchet was my 3 x great grandmother, married to Thomas Hunt. The Hunt's who were also from Stepney moved to Whitechapel, Middlesex to conduct Cheesemonger/ Grocery/ Wholesale Provisions business. Please do contact me if you are also researching this family. Great website, well done Mr Quick and BGS! Thank you Hilary
