Comment: My GREAVES ancestors were in Biddlesden in 1841, and I have the census image (page5 of HO 107/44/6). We are visiting the area in July 2010. How can I find out the locations of the various 1841 farms, as the census gives no clue, and the family had left for Australia by 1851? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Comment: I'm researching my maternal grandfather, James Mead, born in Stewkley circa 1880; father is George Mead (agricultural labourer) and Mary Smith, both born in Stewkley. James' siblings listed in the 1891 census are Emily, 23; Edward, 20; Fred, 18; Ellen, 15; William, 12; James (my grandfather) 10; Elizabeth, 8; Annie, 2 and Bessie, 5 months. Comment: I am searching for any Clapham descendants from Wavendon, Buckinghamshire. My gr-gr grandfather was James Clapham (abt. 1830-abt.1862) , son of William Clapham and his wife Sarah (Farr?). Other chilren, siblings to my James, include Ann, Edward, Caroline, Mary & George. James married Emma Walker, a daughter of Philip and Zilpha Walker from Winslow abt. 1853. All help truly appreciated.

Comment: Looking for Buckinghamshire birth and marriage of Elizabeth Tunk (Tunks, de Tunk) who was born 1791. No idea of parents. She married John Hylton of the 85th Regt' of Foot, about 1809, I believe. Anyone know this famly TUNK??? They later went to Penninsular War, then onto Jamaica, BWI. Thanks, nan

Comment: Looking for parents of William Humphreys b 1868. in Pinner Possibly James from North Marston. I can find a James Humphreys b c1844 with a son William Humphreys as above. But William's marrage cert lists father as George I think James and George are the same person however I can't find paper trail to prove it. Grateful for any help. Great Website
